Malaia and Kalia Simms are twin sisters born and raised in Bed-stuy, Brooklyn. As true creatives and patrons of the arts, the Simms Twins founded Intertwined Productions as a way to support, empower, and collaborate with artists, while enriching the community that seeded their passion for artistic expression and storytelling. Both Malaia and Kalia attended NYC’s premier Performing Arts schools and participated in extracurricular Arts programs that enabled them to travel the world and experience Art from a variety of cultures. With deep ties to their community and a global perspective, they utilize their unique skill sets and experiences to bring artistic visions to life from conception to execution, while creating a safe space for artists to thrive. This dynamic production duo prides themselves on being the perfect balance of creative, innovative, and compassionate community members. Malaia and Kalia have made it their life’s mission to create with and invest in Artists with the same unyielding desire to use Art as a catalyst for change.
